Hello folks thanks for clicking on my article my name is Pedro Marques and I ‘m a Marketing Consultant and home based business owner. Today   I ‘m going to show you an action plan that I particularly use every day to attract new prospects into my business at ZERO cost.
We all know about Web 2.0 correct? But some of us might not know how to take advantage of this powerful tool. I will guide you through a smallaction plan that will make THE difference in your business. I will talk about:
1- Twitter
2- Facebook
3- Myspace
4- Blogging
5- Squidoo
6- Video Marketing
7- Article Marketing

Action Plan:
Important to remember that people will only click at your website if you add them value. We must add value to people in order to become successful with Web 2.0
Simple, Free/Low Cost Methods To Get Your Business Off The Ground

Twitter
1. Post at least 3 or 4 tweets a day (e.g. YouTube videos, Good articles, Cool pictures, Quotes, Some personal content)
2. Add friends, people who are interesting and who bring value to twitter. Next to that People who are interested in online marketing, business, entrepreneurship, aka leads.
3. Some more information:
Twitter Etiquette:
a) If someone follows you, follow them back.
b) If a follower replies to your tweet, respond back to them. Foster the dialogue.
c) Never type in ALL CAPS. It’s like yelling. Most people don’t like to be yelled at.
d) Be cautious about giving away too much personal information. For example, this would not be a good idea: “Woo hoo can’t wait for my vacation Jan 10 to 18 when my home at 5432 Main St. will be completely empty

Facebook
I believe we all know what facebook is and there is no need for me to explain what you can do with it. But with me having a business, a basic personal profile is not enough, next to that I also have my Facebook page (Pedro’sHome Based Business http://bit.ly/axmgVO )
This is important because Facebook Business Pages DO rank in the search engines and Facebook now gets about the same amount of traffic as Google, so having a Facebook business page is a great place to start building the business brand.
Following is a brief summary of the key differences between your Personal Profile and your Business Page:
Facebook Personal Profile: Facebook Business Page:
A Facebook “Profile” is a personal page. A Facebook “Page” is a business page.
You can have only one Facebook profile. You can have many Facebook business pages linked to your personal profile.
Facebook profiles DO NOT show up in search engine results. Facebook business pages DO show up in search engine results.
Facebook profiles have “Friends” Facebook business pages have “Fans”
You CAN send friend requests. You CANNOT send Fan requests.
1. Promoting through: Linking it to the website, blogs, Squidoo lenses or any other social media/content sharing sites.
2. Marketplace: Placing adds (promoting the business page) 3x per week
3. Join business groups, minimum of 5 groups per week
4. Add fans to business page, min 100 per week(Easy way: add also fans from other business groups)
5. Add video’s (e.g. http://bit.ly/dq1zRT )
6. Keep the content fresh and original, update DAILY. Be updated about with recent trends.

My Space
1. Add at least 50 friends per week ( do not add the person without posting at their pages)
2. Join groups, of people with similar interests such as online business, home based business, entrepreneurs and more.
3. Add links, videos, blogs, pictures (e.g. http://bit.ly/4C4W4P )

Blogging
Is important because like all other social media sites, this also ranks in the search engines. For example, Google loves fresh, unique content regularly.
1. Setup Blog website (personal and one for business) (IT skills required)
2. Post unique blog content.
3. Add videos, pictures, keep comments updated

Squidoo
Squidoo is a community website that allows users to create pages (called lenses) for subjects of interest.
Squidoo is a “Content-Sharing Site” that gives you a one page website, or “lens,” where you can share content about any topic you wish. Search engines like Squidoo and are constantly pulling content from Squidoo lenses to show in search engine results.
For example, if you had a Squidoo lens all about you, when someone goes to Google and types in your name, your Squidoo lens can show in the search engines results.
1. Create lenses around keywords that search engines will easily find, min 2 per week
2. Add content, videos, pictures
3. More information:
. link as many lenses to the main “About Me” lens( that is already created)
. Each lens should be on a specific topic/ keyword
. “How To” lenses are fantastic and a great way to position one as a leader

Article Marketing
1. Writing articles and post them on various sites. (You can optimize the articles for specific keywords so that they appear in the search engines results when prospects search for that certain keyword.)

Once you immediately start taking action by following this blueprint, it will not take you more than a month until you start noticing the difference in your business. Nowadays the lack of money is not a reason for you to become lazy or desperate, I guarantee you this strategy will make you some conversions.
